Jorge Selarón's tiled staircase is one of the most photographed spots in Rio, glowing with tiles from all over the world. It is free and always open, but narrow and busy, so there is little room for tripods and the crowd never really thins. Early morning gives you the cleanest frames; keep an eye on your gear.
